Project Description
Paintball-shooting robot shamans come together to play some hardcore paintball.
Use the awesome power of paintballs to convert the creatures of the world to your side, and use them to crush your opponents.
Controls, player:
w,a,s,d - steer
mouse - look (you might have to refocus in the webplayer)
space - jump
left mouse/ctrl - shoot
Controls, creatures:
Convert a creature by shooting at it, the larger ones require more hits to be converted.
Once you have converted a creature, it will change to your color.
Now, if you click on it a blue marker will pop up above it.
Grab the marker and drag it to where you want the creature to go. If you place it on another creature or player, it will follow them.
Place the marker on an enemy creature or player in order to make the creature attack it.
You can select multiple creatures by clicking and holding on a creature, and while holding, dragging the mouse over all of your creatures that you want to select(they turn blue when selected). As soon as you release the mouse button you can grab the marker and issue an order to all of the selected creatures.
Creatures will spawn continuously as you play, the longer you play on a server, the more creatures will populate it.
Disclaimers:
This game is pretty rough, so, beware of nasty bugs! I started from scratch with this entry and the networking is hardly optimised. The game will probably play best over LAN. If you join a server mid-game, there'll probably be some buffering, hickups and weird positioned stuff for a while, after the loading screen, until the game catches up with all the current states of players and monsters.
There's a funny bug that occurs sometimes after selecting a unit; which disables the gun. Shoot into the sky to enable it again. :P
And, sorry, no sound effects or music. ;( I might add it in the next couple of days. I also hope to add some more creature types.

Phew, I finally managed to get the networking up and running. Maybe I’ll be able to spend the entirety of tomorrow on polishing? That’d be sweet.
